Concerts

These are so much fun!! Jim tours to colleges around the U.S in his freetime. I was lucky enough to catch a show since he finally came down to the south! At University of Texas at Arlington ( I live in Dallas) he put on quite the show!!

University of Texas at Arlington - March 26, 2002

1. Troll Doll Celebrities

2. Stand Up Comedy (College stuff and Squirt Guns)

3. Snowball

4. Idiot Boyfriend

5. Drinking in the Woods

6. Troll Doll Songs (* Coldplay, Alanis Morisette, Dave Matthews, Counting Crows, REM) ( I can't remember anymore) [This is the part were he says goodnight, but comes back out for more! I saw some people actually leaving! Morons!]

7. Hammertime (Which included the verse of the Pet Shop Boys (as from the NYC Concert, not like the CD) Then he left

I wanted to go to the back and try to get an autograph but my dad wanted to leave (Last time I go with him!) My seats sucked! I was in the row before the last one. I couldn't see his face at all (That was the saddest part) but I remember what he was wearing. A red shirt with the Beatles on it ( it may have been the one from the back of the Bathroom Wall (I was too far to see) and he had on dark blue jeans. His shoes were red with a white stripe in the middle. This took place around the Ian McKellan episode so his hair was like that episode. He looked so cute!! I'll never forget the part where he turned around and shook his ass!! Adorable! I took photos, and risked getting kicked out, but they didn't come out! I cried when I saw that they didn't come out!

UPDATE: Well, I finally found a picture from the concert, and it's the one to the left. This is the only known picture from that show, and as you can see, the shirt I thought he was wearing was way off! I am really blind. Well, that's what he looked like, and if anyone has more pictures from this show, please tell me!!!

Well, I couldn't leave empty handed! I remembered that by the parking lot corners there was a sign that had Jim on it and said "Live from UTA... It's Jimmy Fallon". I ran over there and tried to pull the stake out the ground which didn't work so instead I carefully pulled it off. There is still a rip but I fixed it up. Best of all, there was one on both sides so I gave one to my dad. Mine is on my wall as a sort of poster type suviner. It wasn't an autograph but it will do for now. He hasn't toured in awhile, but I'm sure he will traveling again soon!

P.S.-

The Stand Up Comedy part where he talks about Squirt Guns was not included on the album, and luckily, I still remember some of it! So I'll write all I can remember.

Jimmy: Have you guys noticed how different squirt guns are today from the old ones? When I was a kid, we got those tiny guns with the little caps in the back where you fill it and get two squirts out of it. And sometimes there was a crack in the gun so it would leak and you only get a tiny shot. But nowadays, the squirt guns are huge! These super soakers, you can like get an entire gallon of water. And the shots hurt now too. You can just knock kids over in one hit! They could even help out the fire department. (As a firefighter) Hey, is Billy home from school yet? We need him to help us put out a fire with that squirt gun!

I remember the name WAS Billy! That's pretty much all that was said! Hope you catch him at one of his shows!
